Yeah, Me Neither (Part II)

5.14.2013
do you ever...

fall up the stairs, when you haven't even been drinking?

dance around and sing along to "pocketful of sunshine" like emma stone in easy a?

miss your mouth when you try to drink from a straw and stab the side of your face or your nose instead?

kind of miss all those surveys you filled out about yourself on myspace, because damn, you were kind of good at those?

get so emotionally invested in a television show that you yell at the screen like they can hear you?

press the door close button so you can have the elevator to yourself?

get recognized by the people at taco bell to the point where they remember your dog's order?

actually laugh at pauly shore movies?

check the toilet bowl for snakes or other creepy crawlies before you use it?

sit down with popcorn and watch twitter drama unfold? (or a friend's little sister's gruesome breakup and makeup facebook displays?)

...yeah, me neither.

  6. This made me giggle. All. The. Time. Falling up the stairs happens pretty often and I hate doing it when I'm by myself bc then I'm just the weird girl laughing in the hallway by myself.

  18. I am always way too into TV shows. It's bad. I once threw my pillow at the TV when Chris Daughtry was kicked off American Idol.

  19. I fell up the stairs last weekend. I have stair issues.

I'm pissed because my office building rewired the elevators and you can't go crazy pushing the door close button.

  20. and i also have a habit of falling *down* the stairs. once i was carrying two bowls of french fries at a carnival and fell down the freaking stairs coming out of the food court...in front of a table FULL of people who ended up laughing at me and at a closer looks, they were all of my friends. BUT i didn't drop a single fry! scraped the hell out of my feet and chipped my toenails but the fries stuck! if that's not talent then i don't know what is

    1. PURE talent, I mean, fresh french fries are way more important than your feet! Way to have your priorities in order, I'm impressed.

  25. MySpace surveys were pretty much the best waste of time ever. And everytime I get into the elevator & no one else is there, I ALWAYS press the door close button. I hate awkward elevator rides with strangers!

"CHEDDAAARRR, OWWWWWW! CHEDDAR WHIZZZZY!" -A Goofy Movie

And I still remember when people used EMAIL to send those surveys around pre-myspace! OH man, I loved doing them so much I made up a couple of my own. lol

  31. Other than Taco Bell and the twitter drama, I completely understand and do all of the rest :) No wonder we are blogger friends!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Oh, well... maybe today I didn't push the button to close the elevator doors... but I didn't push the button to open it for the couple trying to get on. Really... it's one floor... wait for two minutes... I had my large father in a large wheelchair in a smallish elevator... I didn't feel like trying to maneuver the chair to make room for them. Is that bad?

    ReplyDelete
  33. let's see...

I yell at the television on an hourly basis...movies are the worst

Pressing the "door close" on the elevator is my go-to...I usually make a big show of acting like I'm holding it (wow, that sounds awful)

We have a dude at T Bell we're constantly avoiding. Instead of knowing our order he just makes us feel like fat slobs. Who needs that?

  34. I didn't just fall up the steps sober. I fell up the steps sober and broke my wrist. Haha. My mother uses this as an story to prove how "graceful" I am. I never did understand that thing...grace. Clumsy is so much more fun!!

  36. YOU CHECK THE TOILET TOO?!

Ryan thinks I'm weird. But seriously, there could be like a baby alligator in that thing. You never know.

  38. SON IN LAW IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER MADE. Oh, and also Biodome. I mean, COME ON.

Stop going to taco bell. I am worried about your addiction and I don't want to see you on intervention!
