Three on Thursday

Welcome back to Three on Thursday, my weekly even though I sometimes skip weeks list of things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks, you can find those here.

1. Damages on Netflix.  I feel like not enough people watched this when it was out, but it's really good.  All the seasons (5) are on Netflix now so you can binge watch from the beginning.  It stars Glenn Close as a morally bankrupt lawyer in New York and you already know how brilliant she is at playing the villain.  Fellow lawyers will be all over this but I think it appeals to non-lawyers too.  If you're into darker tv shows like How to Get Away with Murder that is.  So if you're in a show hole and need something new, check it out.

2. T3 Curling Iron.  I generally try to keep heat off my hair.  I only dry it if I'm in a hurry (almost never) and when it's just too cold to sleep with wet hair.  I also only curl or straighten it when it's a special occasion.  When I do curl it, I'm in love with my T3 curling iron, I have to say. It's freaking expensive, I got it as a gift.  But it has interchangeable wands for different size curls, which is very convenient.  It heats and cools quickly.  It curls my hair well without needing to get it too hot, and the curls still hold.  Plus whatever it's made out of is gentle on my hair - it doesn't pull, tug, tangle, anything like that.  The curl slips right off when I let go.  If you're the kind of person who invests in the good stuff and need a new curling iron, test this one out for sure.

3. Jenna Catherine on YouTube.  Jenna is a green beauty blogger, which is exactly what I had been looking for!  She has all sorts of videos on the best natural skincare and makeup items out there.  I mentioned that I wanted to cut out more chemicals and I've been doing well as far as DIY skincare and hair care products, but giving up the traditional makeup I'm used to is harder.  Setting powder is one thing - the rest of DIY makeup is hard!  Jenna introduced me to so many brands that are totally natural and cruelty free that I've been searching through to find everything I'll need.  She gives so much great advice and detail, you can tell she puts a lot of effort into each video.  If you're like me and wanting to go a little more green this year, definitely check her out.

Happy Thursday!
