Birthday Pup-Cakes

is turning 8 this week!  We actually celebrated early.  Well, we had one celebration early - we have plenty more celebrating to do.  Back when I was pet sitting for my mom's dog's over Easter, we had a birthday/Easter celebration because any excuse to make cupcakes for dogs, am I right?

So that's what I'm bringing you today - homemade birthday pup-cakes for your best furry friend.  Taste tested and approved by 3 not at all picky little fluff nuggets but I'm going to assume it was just my glorious baking they loved so much.

6 ounces (12 tablespoons) melted coconut oil
4 tablespoons honey
6 eggs
3 and 1/2 cups of flour
Peanut butter
Greek yogurt

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease or line your cupcake tin.  This will be enough for about 6 cupcakes.
2. Whisk all 3 wet ingredients together and the slowly combine the flour in until it's absorbed.  Pour into cupcake tin.
3. Bake until lightly browned, about 15 minutes.
4. Let cool and frost!  For frosting, just mix peanut butter with plain Greek yogurt until it reaches a consistency you're happy with.  About 2 parts yogurt to 1 part peanut butter makes for each spreading or piping.
5. Serve to your very captive audience.

I think my official taste testers approved!
