Three on Thursday

Welcome back to Three on Thursday, my weekly even though I sometimes skip weeks list of things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks, you can find those here.

1. Oversized Beach Towels.  You never realize how useful they are until you have them.  I'm not a big beach person but John's parents have a pool so we hang out there, and I like to just sit in the grass at home and play with Hawkeye (but I hate the actual feel of grass.)  Growing up my mom always had beach towels around, but since John is so tall, I opted for oversized ones and I now realize what I was missing all those years.  Sorry, mom.  They're just so much better for laying on and wrapping around you, you actually fit!  We've been using them for everything.

2. Summer Pop Music.  I had to include this for Tara because this is summer weather pop music.  Weird video, but song is as good as it was 3 years ago.  Should you need a reminder.

3. The 3-1-2-1 Diet by Dolvett Quincea.k.a. the Biggest Loser trainer.  It's not a new book but it's one I read a long time ago and then forgot about until recently, so I re-read it at the library.  It makes weight loss so so simple - plus you don't have to totally cut out your favorite foods, which is always a win.  From Amazon: "Dolvett's effective eating plan is as easy as 3-1-2-1: three days of clean eating, one day of cheating, two more days of clean eating, and one final reward meal at the end of the week. No foods are off limits and you will never feel deprived because the plan is flexible enough to fit into any lifestyle. You'll lose weight fast-10 pounds or more in just 21 days-and you won't plateau."  Truth.  I don't like to push diet-y stuff but I like this simple read and his simple 48 minute workout.  Check out of the library, see if it'll work for you.

Happy Thursday!
