Welcome back to Three on Thursday, my weekly even though I sometimes skip weeks list of things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks, you can find those here.

1. Mermaid Spray.  A couple of weeks ago I mentioned in the 'things I'm curious about' post that I was interested in essential oils, but it was kind of overwhelming.  Well the main thing I wanted to make was the so-called 'mermaid spray' for hair that I'd seen on Pinterest a lot, so I decided just to start there and see how it goes.  There's tons of info about it online, but it's simple to make - 4 ounce glass spray bottle (can't use oils in plastic), 30 drops each of lavender, cedarwood, and rosemary essential oils, topped off with 2 or 3 ounces of alcohol free witch hazel.  It's supposed to help with hair growth?  I already have long hair so I'm not sure about that (hair is dead.  If you want it to be healthy before it comes out of your head, that's diet related.  To keep it healthy, don't use heat or anything drying, the end), but I do love it.  It smells so good, I spray it on my roots all over my head after I wash my hair, since it's for scalp health.  Definitely makes my hair really soft but it doesn't leave it greasy or oily at all.

2. Leah Remini: Scientology And The Aftermath.  Season 2 of this just started on Tuesday and it's horrifyingly fascinating.  If you haven't seen season 1, start there (it's constantly being replayed) and then pick up season 2 with me.  Leah Remini very publicly broke off from Scientology a few years ago (she wrote about it in her book, which I loved) after her own disasters with the 'religion' and is now uncovering even more horrible practices and things they've done to others who have quit the practice.  The show is like documentary style and she and her partner, another ex-Scientologist who was very high up in the rankings before quitting, go around interviewing people who have also left.  The stories are insane, it's crazy to watch it all unfold.  Get on board, you're going to like it.  And by like I mean it's a car wreck you can't look away from.

3. Brownie Brittle.  I don't think this one needs any explanation.  I'd like to stop eating it but... I just can't.  I need the Brownie Brittle.

Happy Thursday!
