Things I Cannot Control

September 20, 2017

The weather.

Train schedules.

People who leave me voicemails.  Or call me at all.

Traffic.

How slow the grocery store check out is moving.

When shows and movies come on and off Netflix.

Taxes.

Parking rates.

Wet dog smell.

How other people park.

AT&T and when my phone does or doesn't have reception on their network.

The Bears offense.  Or defense.

Any of my fantasy football players.

My dog's vet bills.

Bloglovin meltdowns.

Social media's constant changes and updates.

Politics.

News coverage.

Children's behavior and noise level in public.

Avocado prices.

Other people's opinions.

The president's Twitter account.

Tuesdays.  Devil days.

What I can control, allegedly, is my reaction to all of the above, but I'm not even very good at that.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  You can also join me on Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.  In addition to minimalism and organizing, I love all things 'real life' so use the hashtag #notentirelyperfect on social media so I can see your beautifully unstaged life.  On the top of the side bar to your right, you can follow me on Bloglovin or subscribe via e-mail to be alerted to each new post.
