Three on Thursday

Welcome back to Three on Thursday, my weekly even though I sometimes skip weeks list of things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks, you can find those here.

1. Face Atelier Ultra Foundation.  I'm always hunting for good cruelty free foundations, and I really like this one.  It's very liquidy so it's easy to blend and light to wear, plus I enjoy the satin, natural finish on my skin (I hate matte foundations.)  Medium coverage, slightly buildable, lasts the entire work day for me.  I love that you can get samples for $1, which is what I did to find my best shade match.  The sample sizes are really good, bigger than what you get at Sephora, so they last multiple uses.  If you want to see it in action, watch this video from Lisa.  (By the way, the different between the Ultra and the Ultra Pro is only in the packaging, the product is the same.)

2. Decluttering Your Fantasy Self by Allison Anderson.  I love this video about decluttering from Allison.  'Fantasy self' is a good way to describe the things we hold on to the longest - like all sorts of kitchen supplies because the fantasy version of you cooks elaborate meals every night, when real you actually orders take out quite a bit.  If you still have those 'maybe I'll use it one day' things hanging around, give this a watch.

3. Brandless Products.  I think we all know that we pay out the nose for name brand products, when they usually aren't anything better.  Well this site is the answer to that - brandless products.  The middle man is cut out and you pay no more than $3 for every single item on their site, from organic peanut butter to organic k-cups of coffee.  You can even get household goods like soap and steak knives, it's amazing.  Like shopping at Whole Foods but without the price tag.  The ultimate find?  A 10 ounce jar of organic virgin coconut oil for $3.  Do you know how expensive that shit usually is?  Win.  Read their about page too, they're pretty cool - nothing tested on animals, no bad ingredients, made from sustainable resources, they donate a meal every time you shop, it's just all really interesting.  A company you can feel good about.  First order ships for only $3 too.

Happy Thursday!
