Three on Thursday

Welcome back to Three on Thursday, my weekly even though I sometimes skip weeks list of things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks, you can find those here.

1. SmartWool No Show Socks.  Okay, first of all, SmartWool socks in general are a must.  They have really good high ones to wear with tall boots and athletic ones for runners, they keep your feet so warm in the fall and winter.  I really love the no show ones to wear with flats because they're very lightweight and comfortable, and don't slip off in the heel which drives me bonkers with some other brands.  Definitely recommend.  There's also a ton of other styles available on Amazon.

2. Fuller House.  New episodes came to Netflix last week and I already watched them all.  I know it's campy and ridiculous but that's why I love it and I'm glad they keep making it.  I enjoy happy shows.  And Jodie Sweetin.  #stephaniesrock

3. Homemade Chicken Dumpling Soup.  Well, the chicken just in John's portion, of course.  This is a really easy and delicious meal to make when the weather gets a little cooler.  Just boil broth, add in diced carrots and celery and let that cook for awhile so they soften, and then make Bisquick drop dumplings according to the directions on the Bisquick box (it's like 3/4 cup of milk to 1 cup Bisquick or something.)  Drop the dough in balls into the soup, simmer 10 minutes uncovered, 10 minutes covered.  It's even better the longer it can sit, because the broth gets thicker and creamier from the dumplings.  We cook the chicken on the side so John can add it to just his bowl.  It's one of the first things we make in fall, a house favorite.

Happy Thursday!
