100 Resolutions for 2018

I already mentioned how I'm using a word of the year to guide my 2018 goals, but I do still enjoy a good resolution.  If you're thinking about what you want 2018 to look like, let me help with these ideas for 100 New Year's Resolutions.  Maybe they'll even guide a word of the year for you!

  1. Clean out your closet and donate everything you don't wear.
  2. Start every morning with a stretching routine.
  3. Lower your daily sugar intake.
  4. Learn 5 new healthy, easy meals to make, some that don't include meat.
  5. Hit 10,000 steps a day at least once a week.
  6. Stop spending money on coffee shops.
  7. Save $5,000 for a travel fund.
  8. Travel to a new continent.
  9. Declutter your digital life and deep clean your laptop while you're at it.
  10. Quit a bad habit like nail biting or smoking.
  11. Always use sunscreen by finding moisturizers and makeup products that already contain it.
  12. Get every health checkup - internist, eye doctor, dentist, dermatologist, etc.
  13. Start investing, or investing more.
  14. Learn a new language.
  15. Stop playing mindless phone games.
  16. Get out of debt.
  17. Walk the dog regularly.
  18. Learn about recycling and produce less landfill waste.
  19. Start taking vitamins.
  20. Visit the tourist attractions in your own town you've always been meaning to.
  21. Donate more to your local animal shelter.
  22. Start a hobby that has nothing to do with your job.
  23. Read a new book every month.
  24. Floss your teeth daily.
  25. Always send a thank you card.
  26. Regularly spend the day or weekend away from social media.
  27. Try a new fitness class.
  28. Do something kind for your local fire and police departments.
  29. Clean and organize your car and garage.
  30. Buy a house.
  31. Get a raise.  Or a new job.
  32. Volunteer for a cause you care about.
  33. Run a 5k without walking.
  34. Stop shopping for things you know you don't need any more of.
  35. Get a pet.
  36. Get a library card.
  37. Celebrate more holidays, even just in small ways.
  38. Have a regular date night.
  39. Invest in the best version of something you really want or need.
  40. Switch to all cruelty free makeup and skin care products.
  41. Simplify something that stresses you out.
  42. Learn how to make bread from scratch.
  43. Help someone else meet their goal.
  44. Vote every chance you get.
  45. Get your estate planning done.  You need a will.
  46. Go to church more often.  Or less.  Figure out what you believe it.
  47. Start a blog.  Or a journal.
  48. Make a new friend.
  49. Watch less TV.
  50. Listen more than you talk.
