Three on Thursday - Top 3 of 2017

Welcome back to Three on Thursday, my weekly even though I sometimes skip weeks list of things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks, you can find those here.

The new year is almost upon us!  And next week, I'll be on a blogging break, celebrating holidays, working on things around my house and getting the blog ready for 2018.  That means this is the last Three on Thursday of 2017.  So instead of just a regular Three on Thursday post, I decided to pull my top 3 favorites from across every one of these posts I put up this year.  The top 3 of 2017, if you will.

1. Cremo Shaving Cream.  Of the 150+ things I recommended over the course of the past year, I wasn't really thinking shaving cream would have made this final list.  But John insisted, so here it is.  I mentioned that's what I was working on, scrolling through my old posts to pick the top 3 and he said 100% this shaving cream was my best find for him this year.  He loves it, won't consider using anything else.  He shaves every time before going into the firehouse (have to be clean shaven for the masks to seal properly) and he would always get razor burn and ingrown hairs, until he switched to this.  He hasn't had a single issue since.  It first made the Three on Thursday list here.

2. Elizabeth and James Nirvana Bourbon Perfume.  It's one of my favorite perfumes of all time, and currently #1 because they don't actually make my former favorite any more.  This smells so good, it's the perfect fall and winter scent.  It's hard to pinpoint the notes exactly, because I suck at that, but I think people who like marshmallow fireside candles tend to like this scent a lot.  Everyone who has tried it off my recommendation on this original post is likewise in love with it (Steph, Nadine), so if you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend you do.  Definitely top 3 find of the year for me.  Also, Steph and Nadine are two of my favorite bloggers who always comment here so if you don't follow them, you should, and also check in the comments below to see if they can describe the scent better than I can!

3. Trader Joe's Secco Peach BelliniIt was actually the first favorite of 2017 and it's still holding strong.  Not great for my desire to quit sugar but it's only an occasional indulgence for me and it's. so. worth it.  It's actually not super sweet, like some bellinis can be, and I've also found that you can just add more champagne if you'd like.  Either way, it's absolutely delicious and dirt cheap.  My favorite combination.  If you have a TJ's near you, this drink will be perfect for New Year's Eve.  They have other flavors now too, if peach isn't your thing.  And some Aldi locations have it in popsicle form so there is so much winning happening.

Close runner ups were also our new chandelier I'm still obsessed with, my favorite all natural nail polish remover, and the Invisibobble hair ties.

Happy Thursday!  Don't worry, these posts will be back every Thursday in 2018 as well.
