Three on Thursday

Welcome back to Three on Thursday, my weekly even though I sometimes skip weeks list of things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks, you can find those here.

1. Our New Chandelier!  I actually really liked the one that came with the house, but it was plastic so one of the arms of it ending up breaking and there was zero way to fix it - we tried.  Rather than get the same one (which is $100 at Lowe's), we stopped at Home Depot to search around for other options and this super modern and sparkly option caught my eye.  I didn't think John would approve (the sparkle is real, guys - see it on my Instagram) but he loves it, as does everyone who has seen it since.  I balked at spending the money on it but I'm really glad we decided to just do it, and then John installed it as a birthday surprise to me.  We've been obsessed.

2. Hair Bow Hairstyles for Holiday Parties.  And I don't just mean clipping a bow in - I mean shaping your own hair into a bow.  It's adorable and so festive, and actually pretty easy to do!  I also love it when the rest of the hair is curled.

3. Plume Nourish and Define Brow Pomade.  It's pricey at $38 but I feel like all high(er) end brow stuff is anyway so whatever.  I prefer the pomades over pencils, because pencils work better for filling in small parts and pomades are better for shaping.  I was using the Tarte one for awhile but Tarte can 'greenwash' sometimes, where you think they're a really green/clean/natural brand but there's some questionable ingredients in there (Lush is guilty of this too.)  There was something in it I didn't like, so I decided to get a more natural option and opted for this one because it's new.  Did not disappoint - it's pigmented but still natural, creamy and smooth but stays put, comes with a nice brush.  A zero on the Think Dirty app and of course, cruelty free.  I haven't used it long enough to report on how effective the 'helps them grow' claim is, but I have high hopes.

Happy Thursday!
