Three on Thursday - Weekly Favorites

Welcome back to Three on Thursday, a weekly list of three things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks and more recommendations, you can find those here.  If you make your own Three on Thursday list, please share it in the comments so I can check it out.

Nadri Edwardian Ear Crawlers.  I don't like crazy big earrings because my ears are super sensitive as it is, and big earrings just pull down and make them hurt.  Plus I always have my hair down and dangly earrings get caught in it.  So I always stick to studs.  These are all the lightweight, non-hair catching benefits of studs, but with a little something extra.  They look really pretty, are comfortable to wear, and have the right amount of sparkle to look just a little fancier than plain studs.  I have the rose gold color, but they come in gold and silver too.

Andalou Naturals Face Lotion with SPF.  Skincare is one area that I'm willing to spend more if necessary, because it's important.  But I don't feel the need to spend just to spend if I can find a product that works well for me at a much lower price point, which is what this daytime face lotion is.  It's cruelty free, it's got all clean ingredients, it's inexpensive, you can get it at Target, it has SPF, and it wears well under makeup.  What more could you ask for from a face lotion?  This rose one for sensitive skin is what I'm using now, but they have another called 'age defy' that I might try next, we'll see!  I have liked everything I've tried from this line so far, so if you're on the hunt for natural skincare, I think you should check it out.

DIY Hand Soap.  It's one of those things that's super easy to make but we don't do it because we keep buying silly little plastic bottles of soap that get thrown out every time.  I stopped doing that, I have refillable hand soap containers, but I was still refilling them from a big jug of store bought hand soap.  Once that ran out, I started actually remembering to make the damn stuff myself.  It's super easy - 1/4 cup castile soap, 1/4 cup (10 pumps, ish) fractionated coconut oil, and 10 drops of an essential oil, I use an immune one since it's flu season.  Top off the bottle with distilled water (I run it through our coffee maker and let it cool.)  The cute little foaming bottles are from here.  It's super cheap, low waste, non-toxic, all that good stuff.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  You can also join me on Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.  In addition to minimalism and organizing, I love all things 'real life' so use the hashtag #notentirelyperfect on social media so I can see your beautifully unstaged life.  On the top of the side bar to your right, you can follow me on Bloglovin or subscribe via e-mail to be alerted to each new post.
