Three on Thursday - Weekly Favorites

Welcome back to Three on Thursday, a weekly list of three things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks and more recommendations, you can find those here.  If you make your own Three on Thursday list, please share it in the comments so I can check it out.

New Door Lock.  I am, and always have been, the queen of lost keys.  Growing up (and to this day), my parents never had keys for our doors.  The garage is attached to the house and you enter a code to open the garage.  And then you can just open the door into the house.  No keys.  So I was never used to carrying keys, and years of dorm rooms and apartments did not change this fact.  I always relied on RAs, doormen, and roommates to let me back in when I locked myself out.  So we finally switched to the Stephanie Lock on our front door.  Which means it's just a keypad, hooray.  I cannot tell you how much I love it.  We got ours through our security system but they have them all over the place and they're (apparently, I dunno, I didn't do it) easy to install.  I just type in a 4 digit number to unlock the door, so easy.  It also syncs with the security company's app on my phone so I can unlock the door from my phone too, which is great when I'm not home and my mom is dropping something off or Tara is coming into town and gets there before I get off work.

Cato Boots.  Can I just tell you how hard it is to find boots that are wide width, but not wide calf?  It's damn near impossible.  I've always had wide feet, but I don't have wide calves, and every single wide width boot I've found also had wide calves that I was just swimming in.  So I'd just suck it up and wear regular width boots, but they would pinch.  Finally I found Cato boots and I swear, it's the only place that had what I needed.  I generally don't like buying shoes online because I'm really particular and need to try things on, but these worked perfectly.  They had a few different ones I was eyeing, but I settled on these textured ones and they're adorable.  I've been wearing them almost daily, and walking in them about 2 miles a day, and they still look brand new, so I think they'll hold up well over time.  And for only $40.

Amazon DressI love it so much, I got it in another color.  It's better for fall than winter, since it's a thinner material, but it's so, so comfortable.  It's also really easy to wear, just throw on and go, and washes easily.  For only $20.  Amazon is the best.  I find it's true to size, but it has tons of reviews and photos so you can get an idea for yourself.  The colors in person are also brighter than the photos, I have the green but it's definitely a teal color in person.  Still love it!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  You can also join me on Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.  In addition to minimalism and organizing, I love all things 'real life' so use the hashtag #notentirelyperfect on social media so I can see your beautifully unstaged life.  On the top of the side bar to your right, you can follow me on Bloglovin or subscribe via e-mail to be alerted to each new post.
