Three on Thursday - Weekly Favorites

Welcome back to Three on Thursday, a weekly list of three things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks and more recommendations, you can find those here.  If you make your own Three on Thursday list, please share it in the comments so I can check it out.

Trader Joe's Wool Dryer Balls I have no idea what these cost in store, since my mom bought them for me, but I really like them and I assume they're cheaper than that Amazon price.  We stopped using fabric softener before we even moved into our current house so it's been years and years since we had any sort of dryer sheet/fabric softener situation going on.  I haven't felt the need.  But dryer balls dry help dry clothes, and particularly towels, much faster, so you waste less energy.  These are eco-friendly and have been working perfectly.  Plus I can add a few drops of an essential oil to them if I want to leave a slight, natural scent on our clothes.

Essie Gel in Amethyst Noir.  Dark nails just look so nice in the fall.  Well, I love them all the time, to be honest.  I'm not usually seasonal about my nail color choices.  But lately I've just been keeping this dark color on.  It looks black, which I love.  But it's a very, very dark purple.  It looks so pretty and festive on, I've been wearing it since I went to Iowa back in September (since it looked black, like Hawkeye colors!)

Ellengee Market Okay this is only for Chicagoans, but if you live near me you must go.  It's a wholesale meat market that's open to the public, but they also supply over 250 restaurants so you know it's quality at great prices.  They just charge market value.  The prices are incredible, and each week they're updated on their website.  John eats a lot of meat himself, so I know what the prices should be and these are way less than what we've ever paid in a grocery store, by a wide margin, and he swears everything tastes so much better.  This is also where the firehouse cooks stock up.  Highly recommend, especially when you need to serve a crowd.  And the owners are just the nicest guys you could meet, which I always appreciate.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  You can also join me on Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.  In addition to minimalism and organizing, I love all things 'real life' so use the hashtag #notentirelyperfect on social media so I can see your beautifully unstaged life.  On the top of the side bar to your right, you can follow me on Bloglovin or subscribe via e-mail to be alerted to each new post.
