Three on Thursday - Weekly Favorites

Welcome back to Three on Thursday, a weekly list of three things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks and more recommendations, you can find those here.  If you make your own Three on Thursday list, please share it in the comments so I can check it out.

Lara Casey PowerSheets.  I got mine in December and started working on them right away.  PowerSheets is the name for the spiral bound book I showed on Tuesday and it's basically a big goal setting planner for 2019.  (I have the yellow cover, because Hawkeyes.)  The beginning 40 pages or so are just worksheets to get all your thoughts down on paper and begin to corral them.  It ends up funneling down into a page for 10 main goals and action pages for each one of those.  Then it starts into the months, and each month has a page for brainstorming baby steps towards your goals as well as space for any big plans coming up, and then follows up with a 'tending list' where you list out the mini goals for the month and chart your progress.  It's a super helpful system for people who have a lot they want to work on or a lot of big goals, because it helps focus your energy.

Gators and Kittens.  Which sounds weird, I know, but makes total sense as a way to improve your life.  You have to read it, but essential the gators are the bad, distracting things that need to be removed from your life - rather than add more good things (kittens) to make yourself feel better, you need to address the problems first.  In 2019, I don't want gators or kittens.  I have enough kittens, so I'm not adding any more until all the gators are gone.

Pottery Barn Robe.  A robe was on my birthday/Christmas wish list and boy, did John deliver.  It's so soft.  I practically lived in it during this past 4 day weekend I had.  I was really looking for a soft, fluffy lounge robe, as opposed to a quick drying, after shower robe, which is what this is.  It's such a nice material for that.  And so warm!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  You can also join me on Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.  In addition to minimalism and organizing, I love all things 'real life' so use the hashtag #notentirelyperfect on social media so I can see your beautifully unstaged life.  On the top of the side bar to your right, you can follow me on Bloglovin or subscribe via e-mail to be alerted to each new post.
