Three on Thursday

Welcome back to Three on Thursday, a weekly list of three things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks and more recommendations, you can find those here.  If you make your own Three on Thursday list, please share it in the comments so I can check it out.

Happy Valentine's Day!  I love all holidays, so this one is no exception.  Other than the fact that it can be so overpriced of course.  I recommend celebrating at home instead, which is what we plan on doing.  In order to assist with that, here are my valentine-themed recommendations this week.

ONE.

Raspberry Pink Champagne Floats.  You just gotta have a themed drink.  And an easy one at that.  This is just champagne over raspberry sorbet, but it ends up looking (and tasting!) so festive and delicious.  Top with raspberries for that extra touch.

TWO.

Chocolate Raspberry Martini Cupcakes.  Remember when I used to make themed alcoholic cupcakes all the time?  I wish I still had the time to do so, and a group to eat them all.  But I did, way back when, make a Valentine's themed one that turned out delicious which I highly recommend you recreate because vodka frosting is actually amazing, I promise.

THREE.

Heart Shaped Pizza.  I suppose you need some real food, with all those cupcakes and champagne drinks?  Heart shaped pizza, always.  Pizza is the way to everyone's heart.  There's a ton of recipes on Pinterest, but you could also order in.  We actually order deep dish pizza from Lou Malnati's, our favorite here in Chicago.  They do offer a heart shaped pizza around Valentine's Day, but here's the thing - I'm cheap.  That heart costs the same as the round and you get less pizza which is nonsense.  So we order a regular one and then cut it into a heart shape when we get it, take a cute picture and feel all festive, and then eat the whole thing.  It's our tradition.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  You can also join me on Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.  In addition to minimalism and organizing, I love all things 'real life' so use the hashtag #notentirelyperfect on social media so I can see your beautifully unstaged life.  On the top of the side bar to your right, you can follow me on Bloglovin or subscribe via e-mail to be alerted to each new post.
