Welcome back to Three on Thursday, a weekly list of three things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks and more recommendations, you can find those here.  If you make your own Three on Thursday list, please share it in the comments so I can check it out.

ONE.

Dog DNA Test.  John got me this for my birthday, it just took me forever to complete and send in.  I always really wanted to know what breed or breeds Hawkeye is.  She's a rescue and looks very much like a Pomeranian, but she's also much bigger than a standard pom, which is supposed to be about 8 pounds - she's 16.  But not fat!  She's just taller and longer, with a longer snout.  There is a similar type that's in the same family, but is one size up, and I thought she might be that (poms are dwarf Spitzes but there's many sizes of the Spitz breed.)  She also might be mixed with Sheltie.  There's no real reason why I needed to know this information, just that I wanted to.  The test is actually easy, you just take the swabs, swab the dog's mouth, put them back into the packing sleeve, and send the box back in the mail, which is already addressed and postmarked.  Takes a few weeks to get the results and Hawkeye's results?  German Spitz.  Apparently my little rescue mutt is in fact not a mutt at all, she's purebred.  She's just also not a pom.  (This DNA test does test for Pomeranian versus German Spitz but not all the other various sizes in that Spitz family, so we're just going with the next size up from pom, like I originally thought.)

TWO.

Whole30 Spinach Artichoke Twice Baked Potatoes.  I actually ate pretty simply during my Whole30 month, which worked well for me.  But I did take the time once to make these and they were so good.  Worth the extra effort which, honestly, wasn't much.  I highly recommend these if you're ever doing Whole30 but also if you're just looking for a way to lighten up twice baked potatoes.

THREE.

The Wonder Luster on YouTube.  Depending how long you've been reading blogs, you might remember Shannyn from her original blog, Frugal Beautiful, when she wrote about having no money and being frugal while living in Chicago.  That blog still exists, but she also has another personal blog called The Wonder Luster, though she mostly updates that through her similarly named YouTube channel.  I love Shannyn.  She's just adorable on camera, and so relatable.  Her videos are heavily financial based, just like the blog, but she's also doing a no spend this year and working on minimalism.  All things right up my alley.  I highly recommend watching, I think you'll find her so much fun to listen to.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  You can also join me on Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.  In addition to minimalism and organizing, I love all things 'real life' so use the hashtag #notentirelyperfect on social media so I can see your beautifully unstaged life.  On the top of the side bar to your right, you can follow me on Bloglovin or subscribe via e-mail to be alerted to each new post.
