Things I Love, Repeatedly (Because It's Almost Rex Manning Day)

I tell you every April when it's almost Rex Manning Day, and this year is no exception.  April 8th, by the way.  Instead of just tell you about this and how much I love the movie Empire Records (again), I decided to share other things that I love so much that I watch them or use them on repeat.  And love them just as much, every time.

Empire Records Obviously.

Harry Potter Series How can you not re-watch these?! They're just so, so good.  I end up re-watching all of them at least once a year.

Hunger Games Series I still love them and love watching them, even though I know what happens and who dies.

Die Hard.  I do only watch it at Christmas, but I watch it multiple times every December and it never gets old.  The absolute best Christmas movie.

Mean Girls.  There's just certain movies that I can watch over and over without getting sick of them, even when they aren't classics like Harry Potter.  And Mean Girls is one of them for me, for some reason.  It just keeps being funny, and watchable.

The Goonies.  John does not understand my love of this movie.  I don't understand his love of Captain America Winter Solider.

My So-Called Life.  Cut down before it's prime.  Probably my favorite show of all time, and the fact that it's one tiny season is one of the biggest disappointments of my life.  Did anyone else watch this??

Veronica Mars I've totally lost count of how many times I've re-watched this series.  I still love it.  You'd think it would get old, since each season is based on one main crime she's trying to solve, and clearly I already know who dun it, but I still re-watch it.  I love that they keep making movies now.

Gilmore Girls.  This is a fun one to start over, the first seasons are just so adorable.  I honestly don't know that I would re-watch that 4 part mini-movie follow up thing they did on Netflix though.  I really didn't love that story line.

Dawson's Creek.  Yes, there's a whole 90s/early 2000s trend to my list.  The height of my TV watching days.  I was still in junior high and therefore slightly too young to be watching this when it came out, but I did.  And I've watched it many times since, though I admit I don't usually make it to the final season.

Harry Potter Series.  If you don't love these, well, you're wrong.  It's that simple.  I love them more than the movies, of course.  There's so much more story packed into these, I highly recommend reading them if you've only ever watched the movies.  #TeamHufflepuff

The Hunger Games Series.  This is another where I loved the books as much as the movies.  They just have such detail that the movies lack.

Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up.  Come on.  You knew this would be on here.

Total Money Makeover I adore Dave Ramsey and his passion for debt-free living.  Even though we don't have debt, there's still a ton of information in this book that I love for saving, investing, and insurance.

The Book Thief.  It's the saddest and yet most well-written book, you will cry and love it at the same time.

Bath and Body Works 3 Wick Candles.  I just can't quit them.  And I don't have to, since I have a stockpile of at least 10 still, from Christmas.  My people know me so well.

Essence Lash Princess Mascara.  The price cannot be beat considering that it actually works just as well as anything high end.  I love the TooFaced Better Than Sex mascara, but this is the same for a fraction of the cost, so I haven't bought anything else in years.

Karma Naturals Nail Polish Remover Acetone remover is just the worst.  It smells terrible, it makes my nails hurt, it's super toxic.  I'm glad I found this natural nail polish remover made from essential oils.  It works perfectly.

Invisibobble Hair Ties They just last forever, I love them.  And they comfortable to wear, never pulling or dragging hair down, and never leaving a crease.

Flocked Hangers You just don't know the transformative magic of matching, slim line hangers in your closet until you experience it for yourself.  It's the best.

USB Lighters.  Can't recommend enough, if you always light candles but hate buying the wasteful disposable plastic fluid lighters.  Just recharge this one forever.

Crate and Barrel MugsThe workhorse of my kitchen, given all the coffee I drink.  I love the size of these and the crisp white color.  They never stain and I haven't broken or chipped one yet, and I've had them for years and moved them to like 6 different apartments before they arrived in our home.

What do you love, over and over again, as much as the first time?
