Welcome back to Three on Thursday, a weekly list of three things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks and more recommendations, you can find those here.  If you make your own Three on Thursday list, please share it in the comments so I can check it out.

ONE.

Bully Sticks.  Gross but seriously loved by Hawkeye.  These keep her busy for hours.  If I give her one, I probably won't see her again for at least 3 hours, it takes her that long to finish and she's that enthralled by it.  I linked to Amazon just so you would know what I'm talking about, but I always get mine local from from one of those specialty natural pet stores.

TWO.

Furbo.  Yes, John bought this ridiculous thing and I'm just dying over it.  It's exactly what it says it is - a treat tossing dog camera with both audio and video.  I kid you not, it's a nanny cam for your dog, but you can also dispense treats.  Necessity?  No.  Hilarious and fun?  Yes.  I was pretty sure Hawkeye just sleeps all day, which means she has a ton of energy at night.  This confirmed it, although it also confirmed that she knows exactly when John or I are supposed to get home, because she moves from the basement (her nesting zone) to the main level and starts pacing near the front door about 20 to 30 minutes before we get home.  Too smart that one.  So I check in on her throughout the day, mostly just to wake her and keep her on her toes because I'm mean.  But then she gets a treat so it all evens out.  Seriously though, if you want to watch your dog during the day, this thing is great.

THREE.

New Job.  Almost two weeks in now, so the new job is still very new.  But I like it so far!  It's completely different from what I used to do and I'm still learning everything.  I love being close to home, of course, and not having to take the public transit blue line train here to get downtown anymore.  But I also love the actual work, because it's tons of reading, writing, and editing, and I never ever have to go to court.  For the last 8 years, the blue line and the courthouse were the bane of my days, and now they are no more.  Love.  I like everyone I work with and my office. The only downside is that the building controls the temps so it's either burning hot or freezing, there's no in between.  Easily remedied with layers.  So far, everything is great!
