Three on Thursday

Welcome back to Three on Thursday, a weekly list of three things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks and more recommendations, you can find those here.  If you make your own Three on Thursday list, please share it in the comments so I can check it out.

ONE.

Homemade Hummus Recipe.  Store-bought hummus is overpriced and also full of strange ingredients.  It's really unnecessary given how easy it is to make at home.  This recipe is incredibly easy with minimal ingredients, which, as you know, is the only kind of recipe I like to make.  And no oil!  But still comes out creamy and delicious.  And side note?  I just use canned chickpeas and skip the soaking process.

TWO.

House of Intuition Candles.  Magic candles, that is.  No really, they're magic.  My best friend Meredith lives in Venice Beach and she's also into candles (and crystals, among other things) so she stopped into this store and of course picked up candles for me that she brought the last time she came in to Chicago (before getting super pregnant, she's due in June with #2.)  These are magic and crystal infused candles, and you light them while you say your related intention over them and then leave them lit until they burn out on their own, and then you can get the crystal at the bottom to carry with you.  She got me the money one and I lit it and then got my new job for more money so yeah, they work.  I'm going to get more, particularly the Purify one.  When my shopping ban is over, of course.

THREE.

Passion Planner.  This is the planner that I started using in April, so it's been about 2 months of playing around with it and I'm really liking it.  It's got a lot more space than my previous planner, the Emily Ley Simplified Planner, but that's working out because I have more to write down and track at this job.  The paper quality is really nice, I love that my pens don't bleed through.  I'll definitely keep using it through the end of the year, and it's high on the list of potential planners for 2020.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  You can also join me on Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.  In addition to minimalism and organizing, I love all things 'real life' so use the hashtag #notentirelyperfect on social media so I can see your beautifully unstaged life.  On the top of the side bar to your right, you can follow me on Bloglovin or subscribe via e-mail to be alerted to each new post.
