Three on Thursday

Welcome back to Three on Thursday, a weekly list of three things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks and more recommendations, you can find those here.  If you make your own Three on Thursday list, please share it in the comments so I can check it out.

ONE.

Trex and Our New Deck.  I have a post scheduled to do an updated home tour since we have a brand new deck coming off the back of our house but for now let me just say that I'm completely loving it and loving the Trex composite that we decided to go with.  It's (way) more expensive up front to use it but we don't have to stain it or treat it or paint it for the next 25 years so it's completely worth it for us.  It looks great and we've been using it daily as long as the weather behaves.  The house is definitely coming together, and now the sunroom is actually being used!

TWO.

Suraj Fine Arts.  To be completely honest with you, I don't like art.  Spending any time at all, at any age, at the Art Institute has always been pure torture for me.  It's one of those Chicago landmark museums that I skip whenever I can.  I cannot just sit and stare at paintings, I don't like it, I don't get it, and I don't own art in our home.  So with all that said, you know it's gotta be good if I'm here recommending this artist and his YouTube channel.  It's just 7 to 10 minute YouTube videos watching these abstract acrylic paint art projects come to life which is somehow fascinating.  Seriously, how cool does this one turn out?

THREE.

Garlic Bagel Chips.  Why on earth are these damn things so addicting?  We get them every time we grocery shop and we end up finishing the bag the same day we buy it!
