Three on Thursday

Welcome back to Three on Thursday, a weekly list of three things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks and more recommendations, you can find those here.  If you make your own Three on Thursday list, please share it in the comments so I can check it out.

ONE.

Erin Condren All Occasion Gift Wrap BookIf you like being prepared and organized, you'll love this thing.  It's a little book full of labels, gift tags, cards and gift wrap for all occasions.  It has birthday cards, thank you cards, and blank cards so you're not caught without one again, and there's tons of adorable stickers and tags so if you're gifting something like a bottle of wine at a housewarming party, you just stick your label directly on the bottle.  It also comes with gift wrap and paper envelopes, all tucked away neatly into the little booklet.  I cannot even express how useful this sucker is.  I'm sure I'll use some of the labels for Christmas, but it's been useful even now, like when I just went to a graduation party for my friend's daughter (a fellow Hawkeye!)  I know I'll do something with it for Betsy's housewarming too.  If you've never purchased from Erin Condren you can get $10 off here.  Also, I know a lot of people use and love Erin Condren products.  If that's you, it's really easy to sign up for their affiliate program so you can get a little percentage of cash back for sharing the stuff you like.  Just a thought.

TWO.

How Not to Die.  This book is completely fascinating.  Essentially, it's all about how to avoid the top 15 causes of early death in America through changing your diet.  And yes, he advocates for a plant based, whole foods diet (so, no meat.)  Which is how I eat most of the time and we tend to like things that reinforce our world views rather than challenge them, so of course I more readily accepted these findings than a meat eater would.  But I think there's still a lot of good information in this book, even if you do eat meat, just to help you understand how certain foods interact with our bodies and how so many diseases are tied to that.

THREE.

This Video from Shelbi.  It's dark but completely (probably) accurate - her morning routine in 2050.  Her YouTube channel is all about sustainability so it only makes sense that her future morning routine video would focus on all the resources that are no longer available because of all the things we've killed off on the planet.  Steph and I are planning on blogging about and promoting Plastic Free July next month (more to come soon), but sustainability is something we both think about a lot, all year long.  This video will really give you something to think about and maybe motivate you to participate in everything we'll have going on next month.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  You can also join me on Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.  In addition to minimalism and organizing, I love all things 'real life' so use the hashtag #notentirelyperfect on social media so I can see your beautifully unstaged life.  On the top of the side bar to your right, you can follow me on Bloglovin or subscribe via e-mail to be alerted to each new post.
