Welcome back to Three on Thursday, a weekly list of three things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks and more recommendations, you can find those here.  If you make your own Three on Thursday list, please share it in the comments so I can check it out.

ONE.

Skull Cakelet Pan.  I've been dying to use these and the time has finally arrived.  I got them last year as a gift but that's the problem with both my birthday and Christmas being after Halloween.  I have to wait 10 months to actually use a lot of my gifts!  There's a ton of recipes on Pinterest that use this pan, and it's not just cakes as intended.  You can make skull shaped pizza and burritos too, which is what I'm planning for our Halloween party.  Those are really easy to freeze items, so I'm just going to start making tons of them and freezing until then.  You get what you pay for, and Nordic Ware is the best.  This pan is so sturdy, it's actually fairly heavy.  But that's necessary for getting even baking and still ensuring that you get that great skull shape with all the details.  This sucker will last years and years.  It's very easy to work with too, I haven't had anything stick or come apart yet (as long as I follow directions of course!)

TWO.

Unobscured Podcast.  This is a great one to listen to this time of year to get into the spirit of the holiday because the entire first season is about the Salem witches.  But in a historically accurate way.  It's completely fascinating, especially if you don't know much about the trials.  It's really good storytelling too though, so I think it's still interesting even if you aren't a complete history buff because it's just so well researched.  Also the soundtrack is fab.  I don't know that that's supposed to matter in a podcast but still, you hear the music every time right so it has to fit.

THREE.

White Pumpkin Bath and Body Works Candle.  My absolutely favorite candle for this time of year.  Everything about it smells like Halloween and fall in general.  Everyone who has smelled this one has been obsessed though, it's not just me and my love of this time of year.  It's really just a fantastic balance of scents that really make the whole house smell cozy and festive.  Without fail, any time this is lit in our house or someone else's, guests check to see which candle it is so they can go buy it.  I generally shy away from pumpkin scented candles because I don't like too sweet scents, but this is not that at all.  I know that Bath and Body Works has fantastic fall candles in general, it's definitely their best season, but this is still number one.  It doesn't beat my champagne toast, my ultimate favorite, but that's not a fall scent.
