Three on Thursday

The first one of the year! Welcome back to Three on Thursday, a weekly list of three things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks and more recommendations, you can find those here.  If you make your own Three on Thursday list, please share it in the comments so I can check it out.

ONE.

Apple Cider Champagne Cocktail.  Still have champagne from New Year's Eve?  Try this apple cider cocktail which just adds cider and brandy.  Mmmm.  The brandy gives it a nice warmth and the cider makes it still taste and feel like the holidays.  Personally, I love that.  January can be kind of a let down for people, with everything being 'over', so it's a nice way to still keep the spirit going for a few days.  Before we totally dive in to new year resolutions.

TWO.

Ornament Storage Box Still working on taking down the Christmas decor?  (It's only been a week, no shame.)  If you haven't gotten one yet, I highly recommend an ornament storage box with individual dividers.  Even if you don't think you have particularly fragile ornaments, this system makes life so much easier.  No more tissue paper or things getting hooked or tied together.  Each ornament has a spot to stay safe in and remain perfectly organized for the next 10-11 months, it's fantastic.

THREE.

Wrapping Paper Organizer.  If you have wrapping paper and ribbons to save for next year too, then I also recommend a wrapping paper organizer.  The ones with the hooks are convenient for hanging in closets so they can stay tucked out of the way and also include pockets for ribbon and bows.  A good solution if you have wrapping paper for occasions throughout the year that you want to keep at hand.  If it's only Christmas related and gets store in an attic or basement, the lay flat options work just as well.  Just make sure you check it before you buy anything else.
