What I Didn't Buy in February

I am back this month with another 'what I didn't buy.'  Like January, I carefully tracked everything in February that I seriously considered buying along with how much money I saved by not giving into those temptations.  Here's the list, along with what I learned:

Oribe Gold Lust Hair Oil - $56.  My hair gets dry in the cold weather, particularly when I blow dry and style it, like I've been doing this month.  I like to add oils to the ends to help nourish them and prevent damage.  So of course a pretty shiny golden oil for blondes caught my eye.  But I already have oil that I can use in my hair, and even if I didn't, would a $56 product even be that great?  I don't know, but I almost bought it anyway.

Backpack - $26.99.  I've been considering a bag for carrying my 15 inch work laptop when I need to bring it home, but I'm really particular.  I haven't found anything I can commit to, but this backpack came close.  I like the look of it and I think a backpack would be easiest, but I also haven't had a backpack in so many years.  I don't want to buy something and then not use it because the style doesn't work for me.

Teapot - $36.99.  I drink a lot of tea when it's cold out.  And I just make it by heating the water on the stove, in the microwave, or through the keurig without the coffee in it.  All of those methods work perfectly fine, and yet I almost bought a teapot because it was cute.  Which it is, but it would just end up clutter.

RBG Lipstick - $19.95.  I love RBG, and I love that they made a lipstick in her honor.  I have no idea how these perform, but I almost bought it to test out.  If I hadn't been aware of that red lipstick in my stockpile getting no use, I just might have.

HOI Candles - $54.  I definitely don't need them, I have plenty of candles, but all my candles are 3-wick candles meant just for scenting the home.  I'm out of these intention setting candles, and seriously considered getting more.  If I placed an order, I would have gotten at least 3.

Overtone - $29.  I don't know what I was going to order this for, I don't have a job where I can color my hair like that.  Actually, I don't think my boss would care, but still.  I'm not sure why I almost ordered this vegan, cruelty free, color depositing hair conditioner, but I did.  In rose gold, of course.

Total Amount Saved: $222.93

That's more than I thought it would be for a short month.  What did you resist buying this month?  Anyone joining in for March?
