Three on Thursday

Welcome back to Three on Thursday, a weekly list of three things I'm loving at the moment that I think you should do, try, or buy.  If you're interested in past weeks and more recommendations, you can find those here.  If you make your own Three on Thursday list, please share it in the comments so I can check it out.

Spring Candle Scents.  It's not quite spring yet but we're getting closer, so I like to move to spring candle scents about now.  Fresh Cut Lilacs is my favorite because lilacs used to grow in my parents' backyard and reminds me of childhood.  I also love Endless Weekend because it's fruity and floral at the same time.  And of course, Peach Bellini.  An always favorite.

Zero Waste Phone Case.  Phones are insanely wasteful but that doesn't mean the case has to be.  Don't add more plastic if you don't have to.  Try a zero waste phone case instead.  These are plant-based and completely biodegradable, but still work great at protecting your phone.  And the purchase of certain ones comes with a donation to the associated planet and animal saving cause, which is always a nice bonus.

Erin's Faces SPF.  SPF is important all year round, but if you plan on starting to spend a little more time outside soon, then it's extra important.  But SPF can have a lot of really toxic ingredients both to ourselves and to the environment (it has damaged coral reefs) so it's important to find one that works for you but also isn't damaging you at the same time.  And this means it costs more.  Worth it.  Personally, Erin's Faces works amazing for me.  It is pricey but a little goes a lot way and it protects my face so well.  It's chemical-free and dries clear, while also containing an anti-aging peptide to improve damaged skin.  It's also moisturizing without being greasy, so it wears well under makeup.
